Global Concern gives you the assurance that your child sponsorship contribution is effective in addressing poverty at its core. We don’t simply send money to overseas organisations and hope for the best. All sponsored children attend schools run by Global Concern and monitored closely by our Australian office. Your sponsorship provides schooling, lunches, study material and some medical help for children living in slum conditions. A portion of the funds is used to help their parents get jobs. We provide opportunities for adults in the community to access vocational training such as sewing skills as well as learning about health, hygiene and family planning. Our goal is total community development, to allow communities to become self sufficient.
